Learning & Development at Grit

We are a young organisation that values and encourages consistent learning and training. We launched Udemy for Business (an online learning platform) in September 2021 to make training available to staff anytime, anywhere.

At Grit, we are a young and dynamic organisation that places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional development. Through online learning platforms, our team has access to training anytime, anywhere—empowering them to grow at their own pace.

In 2022, more than 630 learning hours were spent at Grit.

We have a vibrant intern program and collaborate with local youth employment organizations to provide young people the opportunity to gain work experience in a dynamic environment. We also provide training to graduates with the possibility of employment post qualification.

We are passionate about creating opportunities for young professionals through our internship and development programmes, in collaboration with local youth employment organisations. These initiatives allow aspiring talent to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. We also support recent graduates with tailored training and exposure, offering potential pathways to permanent employment.

External training is also provided, and all staff undergo health and safety training including 3 hours of first aid and 3 hours of firefighting training biannually.

We invest in both internal and external training to ensure our people have the tools they need to thrive. This includes regular health and safety training—such as first aid and fire safety—delivered biannually to all staff. Business ethics and compliance-related training is also provided, covering key areas such as ethics, competition, whistleblowing, and other topics required under our regulatory obligations.

In 2022, 19% of our staff received promotions - we nurture our talent, because their growth is our success.

Our culture of development and recognition has seen many of our team members grow into new roles over time. At Grit, we believe that when our people grow, so does our business.
