David joined Grit in June 2022 as the Corporate Finance Manager. Prior to his current role, he spent six years at Gateway Real Estate Africa (GREA), initially as an investment analyst and later as an investment manager. In this role David contributed to GREA’s maiden capital raise and concluded transactions across multiple African jurisdictions.  David possesses a strong skill set in property investment and finance, focusing on investment due diligence, financial modeling, and deal execution processes within the property investment field. He holds a postgraduate Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Financial Analysis and an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Property Studies, both from the University of Cape Town. David also holds the Financial Modelling and Valuations Analyst designation from the Corporate Finance Institute.
