Anfa Place

A Sir Norman Foster design, Anfa Place Shopping Centre has been trading since 2013 and forms part of a mixed-use complex on the Atlantic coast to the west of Casablanca, close to the city’s affluent residential district of Anfa.

The design takes advantage of the site’s magnificent natural setting – the 90 000 m² scheme extends the city to the shoreline by creating an elegant new waterfront community, with places to live, offices, shops, cafés, leisure facilities and a four seasons five-star hotel.

Anfa Place Shopping Centre comprises two storeys of retail space, and offers two levels of basement parking, comprising of 584 dedicated parking bays in level -1 for the Shopping Centre only, and 564 parking bays in level -2, shared with the rest of the complex.

Anchor tenants include Label Vie (Carrefour & Virgin Mega Store), Alshaya (H&M, American Eagle, Payless Shoes and Starbucks), Alhokair (New Yorker, Terranova, Clarks, US Polo and Monsoon/Accessorize), Marks & Spencer, L C Waikiki, Marwa and Orchestra and Go Sport. The Food Court is anchored by Macdonalds, KFC and Burger King.

Acquired on 25 July 2014, an extensive study to reposition the shopping centre as a family and lifestyle destination for a wider range of shoppers and families was conducted in 2016. Refurbishments, tenant optimization and the introduction of a remodeled food court and catering options commenced mid-2017.

Retenanting on the ground floor level has already commenced to feature affordable brands offering a wide range of products and services to the whole family.

The second level will be positioned as Casablanca’s premier fashion and entertainment destination for young adults looking for the best in brands, the latest concepts and exciting entertainment and food offerings.

The third level will cater for daily shopping needs, complimented by several cafés and restaurant outlets.
